Personal Training and Programming

Strength Ratio offers Personal Training and Programming to clients who want to reach their health, fitness and/or athletic goals by working one-on-one with a coach who provides them with individualized programming. Below are descriptions of the Strength Ratio coaches and their specific offerings.

Zach Greenwald

Zach is a Strength Coach and Corrective Exercise Specialist with seven years of coaching experience. He is the founder of Strength Ratio, and his clients have included professional GRID athletes, CrossFit Regional athletes, and National Champions in Olympic Weightlifting. Through his programming and coaching, he has resolved shoulder, hip, back, and knee pain for those and many other Strength Ratio clients.  Zach has earned a Bachelors of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Fun Fact: At age 24, Zach read the Harry Potter series for the first time. It has changed his life.

Becca Lee

Becca brings a diverse background of experience and expertise to her work as a performance coach. She worked for an Outward Bound School for more than ten years in the field as a backpacking, rocking climbing and whitewater paddling instructor. Becca's professional focus in recent years has been on helping to improve athletes' strength and conditioning through corrective exercises, functional fitness and weightlifting. Becca works with a variety of individuals ranging from teens to adults who have diverse fitness goals. She is a USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Coach, a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (NC 12009), and a competitive athlete herself. She is a national weightlifter competing at the American Open level and who has won silver medals at the 2015 Pan American Masters Weightlifting Championships and the 2016 Master's Nationals. Becca holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Guilford College.

Fun Fact: Becca loves the water, and a little known fact is as a junior athlete she was apart of an Olympic Development Team for Flatwater Sprint Kayaking and trained on the Potomac River in Washington DC.

Kyle Clechenko

Kyle worked for four years as a personal trainer for the University of Iowa and holds a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification through the NSCA and a Sport Performance Coach certification through USAW. His clients have included CrossFit athletes, Powerlifters, Olympic Weightlifters, and the General Population.

Fun Fact: He is known for his abnormally large calves for which Zach Greenwald is jealous.
